It all started when…

a group of UCLA undergraduates sought to affect change within and around their community, addressing the health inequity for underserved populations. Looking towards the intersection of public health, global health and medicine, they came together to build the foundation for ECHO, Enriching Community Health Outreach. In August 2018, we became an official non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in Southern California.

Our goal is to inspire future generations of students to engage in education and advocacy for health resources in their community. We strive to start meaningful conversations about preventative medicine and uplifting community health through a holistic viewpoint. Our organization focuses greatly on cultural humility and understanding, and we constantly work to make a positive impact in the lives of the underserved with every service event and collaboration we endeavor upon.
